Native or fluent English speaking Montessori Guide (3-6 year olds) and Montessori Primary Teacher (6-11 year olds) required to join our lovely, friendly and dedicated team in Friuli, Italy.

Famiglia Felice is a trilingual (English, German and Italian) Montessori association founded by parents who believe in providing their children with an authentic non-standard education.

We currently have 7 early years children and 16 primary school children. Our opening hours are 07:45-16:00, Monday to Friday.

We are situated in the beautiful country side of north-east Italy in close proximity to both the mountains and seaside of our region, Friuli.

We are seeking an early years (3-6 year olds) Montessori guide who is passionate about working with children and giving them the best possible start in life. We are looking for an organized person, who is able to make quick decisions and who very much enjoys working as part of a team in order to enhance the best qualities of all. We look for an open-minded, curious, self-motivated person, willing to work as hard as possible to help this project continually grow to its best.

We are also looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and innovative Montessori primary teacher (6-11 year olds) who can create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child feels included. As a Montessori teacher you should be a lifelong learner who inspires a love for learning in the children.

We are not a traditional, long established organization: we are an association founded by parents who believe we can give much more to our children than schools do. Therefore, we are self-organized with volunteer parents helping as the educators guide the children along their journey.

Both positions therefore require highly-motivated, caring, creative persons who take initiative and have a good sense of humour and want to grow in a positive, ever-changing, family environment.

We require for both positions a medium to long-term occupation. Our school period is from the beginning or September to the end of June.
